Pimax held a new product launch event in Tokyo, Japan on May 26, 2024. The event was attended by 14 related companies, including IID Co., Ltd., PANORA, MyDearest, Orai, IntoFree, and DELE, as well as 62 experts from theVR industry.

About the new product "Pimax Light"
The recently released Pimax Crystal Light is a flagship next-generation, high-performance VR headset based on the VR3.0 standard. The new Pimax Crystal Light features 35PPD 8k technology, a QLED panel, and Mini-OLED backlight technology. Unlike last year's Pimax Crystal, this one is more affordable, starting at 112,999 yen (tax included). It's also 30% lighter than the previous Crystal Light, and the standard version features in-side-out positioning and comes with a 6Dof positioning controller.

Pimax's proposed VR3.0 concept and its ultimate goal
At a media conference in Shanghai in 2022, Pimax proposed a concept centered on immersion called "VR 3.0," which sets technical standards in three aspects: visual immersion, physical immersion, and cognitive immersion, which is consistent with the philosophy of Apple's Vision Pro.

Furthermore, as a next step, Pimax will provide more attentive support to Japanese customers in the following five areas while devoting all its efforts to delivering the best VR experience.
01 Expansion of experience-based stores and product experience corners
Starting in 2024, five experience stores and 100 product experience corners will be set up across Japan, allowing users to more conveniently experience Pimax VR-related products.
02 Opening of official community and increasing number of events
Starting in 2024, we will hold online and offline events in Japan at least 12 times a year as a platform to listen to customer feedback, including special invitations to the Tokyo Game Show (TGS) and the establishment of a fan club.
03 Vanguard Plan
We invite KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders) from various fields to try out new products and quickly share the latest information and testimonials with many users.
04 Optimization and development based on Japanese users
Based on feedback from Japanese VR users, we will continue to optimize and develop the service to suit their usage habits.
05 Localization of after-sales service
We will have a service team and call center in Tokyo to improve the after-sales service experience for users, streamline shipping and handling, and reduce waiting times for repairs.
